Problem
Pulse sold a calendar to physiotherapy and dental clinics that receptionists ran alongside a paper diary, because the paper was faster. Every appointment change took four screens.
Approach
I spent two days at a front desk in Charlottenburg with a notebook. The week grid became the whole product: drag to move, click to open a side panel, keyboard to do everything a receptionist does with a phone in the other hand. A small phone app covers the treatment room: today's list, check-in, the patient card.
Outcome
No-shows fell 22% once reminders were tied to the real calendar, and the paper diary was retired at every pilot clinic within a month.
